We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant in Unified Communications to join our global team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP technologies, with deep expertise in SIP, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and experience across Cisco and Microsoft Collaboration platforms. This role is perfect for professionals with a proven history in Cisco Voice technologies who are eager to advance their career into next-generation collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams Phone System.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Design, implement, and support Unified Communications solutions for Danfoss’s global enterprise.
· Lead projects involving VoIP architecture, SIP trunking, and SBC configuration.
· Take the lead in lifecycle site migrations and support Danfoss Merger and Acquisition initiatives.
· Provide technical guidance and best practices for Microsoft Teams Phone System deployments.
· Collaborate with cross-regional teams to integrate UC solutions with existing infrastructure.
· Troubleshoot complex UC issues and ensure high availability and performance.
· Stay current with emerging technologies in collaboration and voice platforms.
· Collaborate with the global UC team to support our Vonage Contact Center solutions.
· Participate in a on-call rotation in the America’s region for afternoons and early evening
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in VoIP technologies and Unified Communications.
· Strong expertise in:
o SIP protocols
o Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
o User Endpoints such as Poly, Algo, and AudioCodes
o Microsoft and Cisco Voice technologies.
o Site migrations to support lifecycle and Merger and Acquisitions.
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
· Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (QoS, VLANs, firewalls) as they relate to voice and video.
· Creation and maintenance of documentation and guides for end-users.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English proficiency.
· Knowledge of Powershell scripting and automation

Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Certifications such as Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, Cisco Certified Professional – Voice, or equivalent
· Experience with hybrid voice deployments and migration strategies.
· Experience in supporting cloud-based contact centers and management tools.
· Familiarity with cloud-based telephony and next-gen collaboration platforms
