Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced SAP EWM Analyst with Warehouse Management including both basic warehouse management (inventory management, inbound/outbound processing, internal warehouse movements, physical inventory) and advanced warehouse management (slotting, deconsolidation, kitting, cross docking, RF Scanner, MFS etc.) solutions to optimize company’s business processes and enhance system capabilities.

This person will have expert knowledge and understanding of SAP functional and technical Warehouse Management capabilities including industry best practices. 

(S)He will be part of the S4HANA project workstream and partner with the overall program team to analyze and define business requirements, business processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables. (S)He will anticipate strategic, tactical and operational roadmaps and therefore related to EWM module charting the deployment of digital solutions in line with company’s overall strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Bring in expertise on Warehouse Management processes and integration with cross modules like Production Planning, Material Management, Quality Management, TMS and SCM.
  • Bring in strong business process knowledge on EWM processes and integration with cross modules like Production Planning, Material Management, Quality Management, TMS and SCM.
  • Preparing, organizing and conducting functional business workshops related to the Warehouse Management area across the Units.
  • Build global EWM template and proposes process improvement plans
  • Ensures appropriate process designs, including the correct business requirements.
  • Modelling and documenting business processes using the process methodology. Providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs and working together with the development team on SAP Configurations & custom developments.
  • Coordinating business workshops, As-Is/ToBe, Configuration, unit testing, user acceptance tests, cutover, go-live and post go-live activities.  
  • Facilitate implementation and support of SAP S/4 Hana (1809/1909) and S/4 Hana Warehouse Management Innovation including seamless integration between warehouse management & production, visibility & control of stocks, Fiori Apps and Warehouse KPIs Operations. 
  • Bring in expert knowledge of warehouse management including basic warehouse management and advanced warehouse management processes. 
  • Strong cross functional leadership by bringing people together to gather relevant business requirements with the ability to look at the end to end processes and understand how the processes integrate in the SAP S/4 HANA product architecture. 

Key Goals

  • Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes, across the enterprise’s global operations, in a consistent and as standardized way as possible.
  • Standardize processes for core IT (e.g. ERP).
  • Ensures process performance, such that processes deliver the intended outcomes
  • Prepares process documentation, such that related maps and work instructions always reflect current work practice and could be used for user trainings and on-boarding’s

Key SAP Skills

  • Knowledge/Expertise in configuration and implementation of: EWM inbound/outbound processing, stock management, physical inventory management, production integration, replenishment & scrapping.
  • · Advance Warehouse Operations including inventory management optimization, inbound/outbound process optimization, material flow control, transportation management, kitting, cross docking and warehouse billing.
  • · Fiori Apps and Analytics experience.
  • · Bring in ability to review the Warehouse Management processes and provide recommendations on process improvements using SAP S/4HANA and conduct fit gap analysis.
  • · Working knowledge on Conversion of SAP legacy system to SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • · Ability to conduct and facilitate complex and interactive solution workshops

  • 5+ years of experience within Extend Warehouse Management and minimum two EWM E2E Implementations/Rollouts.
  • Excellent English skills is a must,
