The Impact You'll Make

As a Senior Professional, Network Engineering  in our Infrastructure Operations team, you will be instrumental in fortifying the security framework that underpins our corporate network. Your expertise will safeguard sensitive organizational data by designing and enforcing robust access control mechanisms. This role directly contributes to the reliability and resilience of our IT infrastructure by implementing state-of-the-art network access controls leveraging Aruba ClearPass and zero-trust models. You will ultimately ensure that only authorised users and devices gain access to our network, thereby minimising risks of breaches and enhancing overall organisational trust.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Design, develop and implement comprehensive Network Access Control (NAC) strategies to uphold network integrity and security across all organisational endpoints.

· Configure and maintain Aruba ClearPass systems to enable effective network authentication, authorisation, and accounting processes in alignment with zero-trust security principles.

· Lead incident response efforts related to NAC solutions, promptly addressing security events to mitigate risks and restore secure access.

· Continuously monitor network traffic and authentication logs to identify potential vulnerabilities or anomalies and proactively optimise NAC configurations to enhance performance and security compliance.

· Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate NAC with broader security frameworks and tools, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive security ecosystem.

· Develop, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, policy specifications, and operational procedures to support ongoing management and audit readiness.

· Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to colleagues on NAC best practices and emerging security technologies.

· Participate in regular security audits and assessments, contributing insights and remediation strategies pertinent to network access control.

What We're Looking For

· Demonstrable experience in configuring and managing Aruba ClearPass or similar NAC platforms, with a strong grasp of zero-trust networking concepts.

· Proven ability to design and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to diagnose complex network security issues effectively.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and conveying technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

· Self-motivated and adaptable, able to manage workload efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on quality and security objectives.
