Job Description

Danfoss is seeking an enthusiastic Sourcing Procurement  Manager to join our diverse team, to lead, manage, and facilitate Procurement Projects.  This includes successful initiation,  planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the projects at the assigned location(s). This includes ensure the correct implementation of phase in/out, consumption or disposition of remaining stock (if applies) and follow up to performance in the production line. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • End-to-end responsibility in the delivery of cost saving projects with all project levers by ensuring that projects are managed properly and meeting all expectations.
  • End-to-end responsibility in the delivery of dual source, localization and other risk mitigation projects, by ensuring that projects are managed properly and meeting all expectations.
  • End- to- end responsibility in the delivery of  NPD projects, or supporting projects managing and coordinating procurement activities.
  • Create sound business cases with a Total Cost of Ownership mindset. Get them presented to and approved by the  business, business cases can be created by Category Managers as well and handed over to SPM.
  • Participate/support cost saving pipeline/workshop for resource, technical and process levers.
  • Control capex / investments in the projects.
  • Lead cross function project team and facilitate project progress and ensure team's result and output
  • IATF standards and procedures compliance, Danfoss Procurement toolbox, Business Award process.
  • Ensure availability of LOI/ Interim Agreement for all critical projects.
  • Effective and proactive liaison with other relevant functions/departments to identify and implement projects and other relevant purchasing activities.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor´s or master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business management or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years’ experience with strategic sourcing or supply chain. Experience may be gained concurrently.
  • Ability to create relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functions (R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain).
  • Outstanding communication and cooperation skills with ability to challenge stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management.
  • English Advanced
