We are looking for a motivated and proactive Trade Compliance Intern to join our team in Apodaca. Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring that all import and export activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Documentation Management: Help in the preparation, review, and management of trade compliance documentation, including import/export declarations, certificates of origin, and other related documents.
- Customs Coordination: Support the coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Training and Awareness: Assist in the development and delivery of trade compliance training programs for employees.
- Audit and Reporting: Help in conducting internal audits and preparing compliance reports to ensure adherence to trade regulations.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update trade compliance databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in International Business, Trade, Law, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is preferred.
