Job Description
Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic Vendor Specialist to manage the Indirect vendors portfolio on tactical level and run optimization and savings project in GS Indirect Procurement. As Vendor Specialist you will be also responsible for implementing preferred suppliers and their operational management for the MRO Category in Americas. You will be involved into running improvement projects with the focus at extension catalogs availability and usage, as well as delivering category procurement savings and projects according to the Indirect Procurement plan. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Operational implementation of procurement strategies (Contracts/projects) and run change management process.
• Supplier performance follow-up on operational activities.
• Run consolidation activities.
• Negotiating contracts and rates.
• Promoting preferred supplier, selling in the advantages, training requesters based on TCO and other advantages for Danfoss.
• Ensure compliance throughout indirect procurement in dedicated areas.
• Active identification of areas for catalog coverage extension and cooperation with Danfoss Procurement.
• Proactive communication of the category strategy to relevant stakeholders.
• Initiate own and contribute to Indirect Procurement savings projects.
• Be a strong professional category expert and advisor for internal stakeholders who require procurement support or services.
• Act as a trainer for other team members in dedicated areas of expertise, provide regular trainings for internal clients to enhance their capabilities and accountability for high quality input and compliance

• Enjoys challenges with stakeholders’ management across cultures.
• Has experience within Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Is motivated to create a business impact with focus on implementation and always striving for improvement.
• Has experience in project management, problem solving/ analysis, change management and decision making.
• SAP/BW knowledge will be helpful.
• Fluent English and MS Office is a must
• Knowledge about production processes, production maintenance and the MRO category will be a plus
