We have just implemented a new HR delivery model in Danfoss so you will be joining a new HR Services organization with a strong pioneering spirit and an ambition to deliver state of the art HR services to our business. As part of the EMEA payroll leadership team, you will be part of shaping the future of our payroll set-up, reporting to the Head of Payroll for EMEA.
You will lead a team of 16 Payroll Professionals spread across Eastern & Southern Europe; responsible for end-to-end payroll and time deliveries, process optimization, implementation of standard procedures and transition of new countries into our shared services set-up.
You will be working closely with stakeholders across different functions, so you know how to build strong relations and understand the value of collaboration to create success stories.

Job will be based in one of these locations: Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic. The job shall be hybrid.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Playing a key role in a big transformation journey - streamlining the system landscape, reorganizing payroll set-up, and changing our HR delivery model.
- Leading the payroll team by role modelling our company values and by focusing on employee development and well-being.
- Overall responsibility for all end-to-end payroll, time and benefit deliveries.
- Managing country payroll & time projects aimed at harmonizing processes and systems within EMEA.
- Collaborating with Finance, IT and external vendors on system design, improvements, and integrations.
Equally important shall be:
- Managing audits and compliance reviews.
- Continuous streamlining of operations.
- Ensuring documentation and back-up systems are in place.
What We're Looking For
- Holder a relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, accounting or human resources (or have equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of five years’ experience within payroll.
- Background in international payroll setting where you have managed big projects related to payroll and system landscapes
- Demonstrated experience with leading people and streamlining processes.
- Fluency in English.
