Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 1st shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. Thoroughly inspect defective valves and perform necessary repairs to ensure they meet all required specifications and quality criteria.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Load and accurately position valves into assembly fixtures with great precision to ensure proper fitting.
- Transport valves efficiently and safely to the designated workstations to maintain smooth workflow.
- Consistently ensure that production targets are met or exceeded to support operational goals. Immediately notify the supervisor or relevant personnel of any shortages in assembly supplies to prevent delays.
- Carefully interpret and strictly adhere to instructions provided in engineering blueprints, detailed work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders to maintain quality standards.
- Skillfully operate various assembly and torque tools with expertise. Thoroughly inspect defective valves and perform necessary repairs to ensure they meet all required specifications and quality criteria.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for this position.
- Candidates should demonstrate fundamental proficiency in mathematics as well as strong reading and writing skills.
- The role requires the capability to stand for extended periods of time and to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Good motor skills are essential to perform the job effectively. Additionally, mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary for success in this role.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) methodologies is preferred and would be advantageous.
