What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and modify product designs, assemblies, and components using CAD tools while maintaining engineering data in PLM systems.
- Support new product development and engineering change management activities in line with established standards, processes, and timelines.
- Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation in compliance with Danfoss, ASME, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to support product development and change implementation.
- Perform GD&T application, stack-up analysis, and assembly-level layout reviews to ensure robust and manufacturable designs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records within PLM systems.Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure compliance with customer and Danfoss requirements.Provide technical support to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support the application of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies and engineering tools such as DFMEA, risk assessment, and validation planning.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, quality, and development efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in product design, engineering change management, or product development.
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or equivalent.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo/Pro-E, or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of ASME and ISO standards, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation and product lifecycle management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of hydraulic products, piston pumps, and motors.
- Exposure to New Product Development (NPD) processes and engineering validation activities.
- Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), DFMEA, and risk management methodologies.
