Job Description

 

The Sales Analyst Intern is a role responsible for helping the Danfoss ACR North America Sales team in developing and strengthening customer relationships by managing critical tactical work functions. The Sales Analyst Intern is a member of the ACR North America Sales team reporting to the Director of Sales.  Daily tasks include providing internal support for sales management, back-office support, project management, customer support and assigned projects.    

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Pareto invoicing and payment process for major customers for purposes of identifying misalignment leading to overdue accounts.
  • Manage key product allocation process by maintaining a high level of communication with the Sales team.
  • For both the above at the end of the work period, compile an executive summary of recommended process improvements with associated time and/or monetary savings.
  • Provide support for ad hoc sales projects as required.
  • Travel possible up to 20%.

Background & Skills

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Data related field
  • Algebraic level or above math skills.
  • Instruction and understanding in statistics
  • Above average critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient listener with good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word.  SAP knowledge a plus.
