What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead transportation operations across truckload, LTL, parcel, intermodal, ocean, and air freight to ensure reliable product movement and customer support.
- Partner with carriers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to improve transportation performance, capacity planning, cost efficiency, and network resilience.
- Manage freight audit, payment, and claims processes to improve accuracy, strengthen governance, and increase financial visibility.
- Use transportation data, market insights, and performance reviews to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.
- Resolve transportation disruptions, urgent freight issues, and service escalations to protect production schedules and customer commitments.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading domestic and international transportation operations across multiple freight modes within a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of freight audit and payment programs, carrier management, transportation sourcing, contract oversight, and claims administration.
- Ability to analyze transportation data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations that balance service, cost, and operational performance.
- Proven success building collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams, carriers, suppliers, and external service providers.
- Experience using transportation and business systems, including transportation management platforms, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
