The Impact You'll Make

As our new Supplier Quality Engineer – Casting & Machining Commodities, you will ensure supplier-provided components consistently meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations while supporting business growth through supplier development, localization, and new product introduction initiatives.

 

Your work will directly contribute to improved product quality, reduced supplier-related losses, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving supplier quality performance for casting, forging, and machining commodity suppliers.
  • Leading supplier qualification, PPAP approvals, and quality planning activities for new products and localization projects.
  • Conducting supplier process and technical audits and driving corrective actions through structured problem-solving methodologies & Reduce supplier-related Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and improve supplier performance metrics..
  • Working closely with suppliers, sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure supplier quality requirements are achieved.
  • Reviewing supplier quality data, non-conformances, corrective action plans, PPAP submissions, and improvement activities & Ensure consistent incoming material quality and minimize supplier-related disruptions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 7–8 years of Supplier Quality Engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in casting, forging, machining processes, GD&T, PPAP, APQP, supplier audits, and supplier development.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experince in working with Cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, NPD, and Customer Quality.
