Job Description

We are looking for a Assistant Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities located in Danfoss Thailand office. Assistant Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for verifying, reporting information and analyzing. We are looking for someone to play an active role in our Finance team

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure monthly and Yearly closing tasks are properly completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Coaching and look after overall accounting processes by closely collaborate with AR/AP accountant.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial information and compliance with Internal control, all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism with collaboration with Regional Treasury team.
  • Lead and complete of Statutory audit, Tax audit  and preparation of various required information and reports required (financial statements, general ledgers, subledgers, and all other accounting data).

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Able to communication constructively with fluency in written and verbal English.
  • 8+ years or accounting manager role experienced in MNC.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & IFRS.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills.
  • Problem solver, creative, and high attention to details.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA/AICPA or CPD or similar will be considered a plus
  • Advanced digital tools skills, particular with BI, Power BI, Microsoft Excel and knowledge of SAP is a plus
