Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a highly collaborative Customer Service & Logistics Manager with strong coaching skills and business acumen to lead our team at our office in Bangkok, Thailand. The Customer Service & Logistics Manager will lead a team of Customer Service and Logistics Specialists while driving improvements to ensure the best experience for our customers.


You should be organised and effective in time management and can perform routine tasks with high quality to help the team efficiently manage requirements. Danfoss processes and procedures are to be applied in your daily work and you will also be open to new ways of working. You will remain flexible to ensure the Customer Service organization remains in focus, whilst working under time and quality pressure. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Directly responsible for performance on the following 3 key areas 
    • Supply Chain Management with demand forecast working together with the Sales Team based on PJT pipeline, target demand planning and forecast, and local safety stock management 
    • Logistic integration process including warehouse, freight forwarding and transportation, imports and export, custom clearance, local safety stock inventory 
    • Customer Service –secure timely case management, and drive digital adoptions of orders  
  • Monitor and correct inventory levels at external warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital to achieve sales targets.
  • Work with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfer to meet the schedule of delivery.
  • Develop, implement and track operational plans to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) & Customer Satisfaction Index (CLI’s); provide guidance and support to team to enable them to deliver on the total company targets.
  • Maintain metrics and data analysis to assess performance and implement improvement
  • Lead and drive a proactive customer service and logistics team
  • Assess and develop processes and competences to ensure world class customer experience

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in related field, with leadership experience
  • Ability to conduct detailed analysis, act quickly with strong determination within a time constrained and pressurized environment.
  • Expert in excel with strong time management skills.
  • Good experience in SAP, supply chain, logistic, warehouse management, project pipeline planning and demand forecast.
  • Excellent complaints handling with ability to resolve escalated issues, improves process, and be able to investigate and recommend solutions.
  • Proactive with positive mindset and “Can Do” attitude
  • Strong communication skills in English Language, both written and spoken
