As a Plant Manager at Danfoss, you'll be at the helm of a $25 million operation, responsible for achieving metric-driven results, building a lean manufacturing culture, and developing both professional and manufacturing talent
This is your opportunity to lead all operational and functional activities, ensuring that plant operation strategies, goals, objectives, and deliverables are achieved. Your leadership will be critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, optimizing equipment and processes, and maximizing asset utilization. In addition, the Plant Manager is a member of the Global Projects, Systems and Services (PSS) Leadership team that leads the $130 million annual sales Business Unit

What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deploy technical strategies and tactics focused on operations, safety, energy usage, engineering projects, maintenance, and warehouse improvements to enhance plant performance.
- Develop and implement manufacturing financial strategies, aligning monetary resources, developing action plans, and minimizing the impact of variances.
- Ensure compliance with Danfoss’ policies and guidelines regarding HR and EHS initiatives, including Equal Employment Opportunity, Worker’s Compensation, and OSHA regulations.
- Develop, motivate, and coach organizational team members and direct reports to build organizational capability, serving as a champion for development planning, succession planning, and goal setting.
- Promote and incorporate "Safety" as an integral part of the culture, leading the development and deployment of a Zero Incident Safety Culture.
- Plan and lead the plant’s capital equipment programs for manufacturing and information systems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree is required in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Plant Leadership
- Strong analytical thinking skills, problem-solving capability, and a data-driven approach.
- Ability to act as a business partner, seeing the big picture and working through ambiguity and change.
- Strong ability to develop and motivate people.
- General knowledge of engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and operational excellence principles and systems i.e. Lean Manufacturing principles, IATF 16946 experience
- This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
