Job Description

At Danfoss Drives we are currently looking for a Software & Control Engineer (m/f/d) within our Software & Control Engineering team in Bruchsal, Germany. In this position you will focus on control engineering for electrification applications. 

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the software development for electrification applications for a set range of Danfoss power converters using model-based design in Matlab/Simulink. You will design software models for electrification applications used in different industries and fields of application and will develop selected specifications demanded by the market. You will work closely with Product Management and R&D located in Denmark and Finland to align on projects and requirements. Further you will ensure the documentation of designs and implementations. 

 

In your team of developers and testers you will work with an agile approach and in a collaborative, self-organized environment taking responsibilities for your field of expertise. 

Background & Skills

For this position you hold a university degree in electrical engineering or information technology. You have work experience in software development and control engineering for electric drives and experience in Simulink-MBD. Additionally, we are looking for: 

  • Knowledge & experience in grid solutions for solar or charging applications
  • Knowledge in embedded software development
  • Teamplayer with willingness to take responsibility for own tasks
  • Communicative and high degree of self-motivation
  • Very good German and fluent English language skills
