Job Description

As Senior Financial Analyst you will be a key member of the DPS Segment Manufacturing Controlling Team. You will be reporting to the Segment Manufacturing Controller and support him in various key financial processes both from administrative and execution angles while thriving in financial analysis of the segment focusing on variance analysis and control checks of the entities' submissions as well as preparing the techincal accounting related controlling reports. You will also regularly interact with stake holders providing them information on existing financial processes and explanations on key drivers and variances in segment reports.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Coordinates across the segment all relevant reporting and cost accounting activities (std roll/PI result/E&O/KPIs...etc.)..
  • Continously seeking improvement on existing reports & processes and find best practices.
  • Supports post merge related activities (alignment of processes, systems) by mapping out existing processes and proposing future preferred solutions.
  • Prepares technical accounting related reports while able to explain key drivers and variances to base assumptions.    
  • Participate in Ad Hoc assignments which tipicaly involve cross functional groups, interactions and project management capabilities.        
  • Interpret reports, processes and data using a range of techniques and tools and communicates to business and financial colleagues, providing technical support and advice to business partners.            
  • Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency, and transparency.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance area preferably at multinational production/industrial company.
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Confident user of SAP and MS Excel.
  • Prior experience with BI and Hyperion (HFM) is an advantage.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Able to present/explain complex financial issues, problems, concepts in a concise, easy to understand form.
  • Proactivity, eager to learn, able to infulence others in an assertive way.
