The Impact You'll Make

 

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll play a critical role in producing high-precision components that support the success of our customers and operations. Your expertise in machining, programming, and quality control will help ensure products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and safely.
 
 
In this hands-on role, you’ll work with advanced CNC mills and lathes, turning technical drawings and specifications into finished parts that meet exact standards. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to product quality and continuous improvement.
 
 
You’ll also be an important member of the team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping maintain a culture of safety, craftsmanship, and operational excellence.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Program, edit, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture high-quality precision components that meet engineering specifications and customer requirements.

 

  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, machining parameters, and GD&T standards to plan machining processes and ensure accurate production outcomes.

 

  • Verify part quality through inspections, first-piece checks, precision measurements, and adherence to established quality standards and procedures.

 

  • Troubleshoot machining processes, optimize machine performance, adjust tooling and programs as needed, and help resolve production challenges efficiently.

 

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment by following safety procedures, performing preventive maintenance, documenting production activities, and communicating effectively across shifts.

What We're Looking For

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.

 

  • Experience operating and setting up CNC machines, including programming and editing CNC programs for mills and/or lathes.

 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.

 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with machining measurements, basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry.

 

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate, learn new skills, and support the development of others.
