The Impact You'll Make
This role requires a blend of engineering knowledge, negotiation skills, and market analysis to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials while reducing total costs. He/She will optimize our supply chain, identify reliable suppliers, and drive cost-effective category strategies with strong technical background in semiconductor components, manufacturing processes, and supplier relationship management.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute category strategies for substrate, EMS, semiconductor chips and chemical material to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to identify opportunities and risks.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFx, negotiations, contract management, and supplier onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement alignment.
- Manage supplier performance through regular reviews, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to proactively adapt category strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development, projects, and operational requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on category performance, savings achievements, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and global market trends for power modules, with strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa).
