In this highly visible sales role, you’ll build trusted relationships across the HVAC ecosystem, working with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, OEMs, and end users. By influencing specifications and delivering value-driven solutions, you’ll help expand Danfoss’ presence in one of the most important markets for energy-efficient building technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Drive business growth across your assigned territory through strategic account development, new customer acquisition, and targeted sales initiatives within the HVAC distribution market.
  • Build strong relationships with consulting engineer, distributors, and channel partners, positioning Danfoss as a trusted advisor and preferred solutions provider.
  • Promote and specify Danfoss Drives solutions for HVAC applications including pumps, fans, cooling towers, air handling units, chillers, and building automation systems.
  • Influence project specifications and customer decisions by demonstrating the technical, operational, and energy-saving benefits of Danfoss technologies.
  • Develop and execute territory plans, manage opportunities and forecasts within CRM systems, and support customer training and educational programs that drive adoption of energy-efficient solutions.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience;  experience in customer-facing technical sales within HVAC, building automation, building controls, variable frequency drives, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and applications, including pumps, fans, chillers, air handling units, and building energy management systems.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, distributors, OEMs, and end users, with a demonstrated ability to influence project specifications and develop strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills, with experience using CRM platforms, opportunity management tools, forecasting processes, and account planning methodologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the United States, with occasional international travel.

    The US base salary for this full-time position will be eligible for  bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
