Danfoss is seeking a results-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic Agriculture and Turf Care team. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving profitable growth, cultivating strong customer relationships, and championing the voice of the customer within our organization. You will be the primary liaison for commercial and market needs, ensuring our solutions align with customer goals.
As a self-motivated Account Manager, you will be entrusted with achieving ambitious sales targets and expanding our market presence. Your core mission is to manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts by strategically planning and executing sales initiatives. By working closely with Danfoss Business Units, you will secure our position as a preferred partner while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets within your assigned accounts and product areas.
- Identify Opportunities: Proactively uncover new sales opportunities and expand our "share of wallet" within existing customer accounts.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to introduce Danfoss products to new and existing markets.
- Build Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact, effectively managing customer relations to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate Internally: Coordinate with internal sales, support, and service teams to design and deliver effective customer solutions.
- Promote Danfoss: Represent Danfoss at industry trade shows and sales meetings, showcasing our value proposition.
- Travel: Domestic travel of 10-20% is required to connect with customers and teams.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR equivalent years of direct industry experience in hydraulics.
- 3-5 years of proven success in a technical sales role, preferably within the agriculture, turf care, or a related industry.
- A high degree of self-motivation, determination, and resilience.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both B2B clients and internal colleagues.
- Experience working effectively in a cross-cultural, matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
- International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) certifications.
