As our Food Retail Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable refrigeration in Malaysia with modern solutions such as low GWP refrigerant, natural refrigerants and energy saving applications. You will work with local and regional passionate teams to strengthen relationships with key OEMs, contractors, supermarkets, convenience stores and cold storage end users — enabling them to grow their business with the vast product portfolio available from Danfoss.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Sales Strategy Development: Take the ownership of vast Danfoss Climate Solutions product portfolio, define and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and enhance Danfoss Climate Solutions' market presence in Malaysia.
- Support Customer Engagement: Support Food Retail customers, including OEMs, contractors, end users of supermarkets, convenience stores, and cold storage by developing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with local and overseas internal teams, including product management and marketing, on aligning sales efforts with company goals.
- Use your Technical Expertise: Use your skills in technical support to guide customers in understanding the benefits and applications of Danfoss products, improving their overall experience.
- Continuously Learn and Share Knowledge: Continuously learn and share insights from market analysis to enhance our strategies in identifying trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience and Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales engineering, particularly in food retail/refrigeration, with a strong ability to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage sales activities and optimize sales pipelines, with strong technical knowledge of climate solutions products.
- Ability to Work Effectively: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to travel within Malaysia and oversea as required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly in various settings.
- Mindset and Adaptability: A demonstrated growth mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
