The Impact You'll Make

As our new ADM Lab Technician, you will help produce high‑quality 3D prints that support rapid prototyping, custom tooling, critical machine spare parts, and low‑volume end‑use components. Your work will directly enable faster product development, reduce downtime, and ensure teams across Danfoss can quickly access the parts they need to innovate and operate efficiently.

This is a 1st Shift position, with hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running daily 3D printing jobs to support prototypes, tooling, and machine maintenance requests.
  • Preparing 3D models and slicing files using appropriate software to ensure successful builds.
  • Maintaining ADM equipment through cleaning, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Performing postprocessing workflows, including support removal, sanding, curing, and finishing printed parts.
  • Managing ADM lab inventory (filaments, resins, consumables) and request reorder when needed.
  • Set up and monitor 3D print jobs throughout the day to support internal engineering, sales, and production needs.
  • Perform basic equipment checks to keep printers operating safely, consistently, and predictably.
  • Finish printed parts through simple mechanical processes such as sanding and support removal.
  • Update print schedules, review upcoming build requirements, and communicate progress with engineering partners.
  • Maintain the ADM lab in a clean, organized, 5S compliant state.

  • You'll collaborate with the ADM Center Manager and Engineer to align priorities and implement improvements.
  • You'll collaborate with our crossfunctional engineering teams requiring prototype components or functional tooling.
  • You'll collaborate with maintenance and production support teams needing machine spare parts.
  • You will occasionally collaborate with internal and external visitors during tours of the ADM Center.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Deliver accurate, high quality printed components.
  • Maintain steady equipment uptime through proper care, preventive maintenance, and timely troubleshooting.
  • Manage print queues, schedules, and materials efficiently so deadlines are met consistently.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail during file preparation, machine setup, postprocessing, and documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with engineers on print status, constraints, and improvement opportunities.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fastmoving environment.

  • Ability to learn and become proficient in new and existing additive manufacturing technologies.

  • Ability to multitask across routine and nonroutine tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Mechanical aptitude with comfort working on machine setup, basic repairs, and diagnostics.

  • Flexibility and adaptability when equipment issues or shifting production deadlines arise.
