As our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting Turbocor’s global manufacturing initiatives by helping improve how we design, test, and produce high-efficiency, oil-free compressors.
Your impact? You’ll contribute to smarter, safer, and more efficient manufacturing processes—helping ensure our compressors meet global quality standards while supporting innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across our production lines.
You’ll collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and global project teams, taking ownership of hands-on tasks and small improvement projects that directly support manufacturing performance and reliability.
This is an in-person position in our Turbocor global headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the design, testing, and implementation of manufacturing, testing, and material handling solutions
- Document and standardize step-by-step manufacturing and testing processes
- Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality) to optimize manufacturing processes
- Assist with the integration of new equipment and technologies, including automation, PLCs, vision systems, and smart manufacturing tools
What We're Looking For
- Current student pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of assembly manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-based, fast-paced manufacturing environment
