As our Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer – Foundry Commodities, you’ll play a key role in ensuring supplier and internal conformance at launch of sourcing projects through advanced quality planning tools. You will focus on our Americas Region foundry supply base, applying deep commodity knowledge to secure successful product launches and ongoing quality performance.

You’ll collaborate with Sourcing Project Managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, taking ownership of APQP, PPAP, and supplier readiness processes, helping us move toward a more innovative and efficient future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead supplier readiness assessments, ensuring capability, capacity, and compliance with Danfoss requirements.
- Support sourcing projects with feasibility studies, technical documentation reviews, and corrective action verification.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage APQP, facilitate PMR meetings, and ensure successful PPAP submissions.
- Use your skills in foundry processes, root cause analysis, and quality tools to resolve issues during Safe Launch and throughout product lifecycle.
- Continuously improve supplier quality performance through risk gap closure, problem-solving, and ongoing development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience with foundry processes, APQP, PPAP, and change control.
- Strong background in root cause problem solving and application of ISO/IATF16949 quality tools (MSA, SPC, FMEA, CQI assessments).
- Effective leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills with a sense of urgency and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to a quarter of the time for supplier engagement and project activities.
