The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQE), you’ll play a key role in ensuring supplier quality excellence and supporting successful product launches through advanced quality planning and supplier development.

You will help ensure suppliers are fully prepared for production readiness, reduce quality risks, improve product reliability, and support smooth project launches that directly enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Project Management, Suppliers, and Quality teams while taking ownership of supplier quality processes, APQP activities, PPAP readiness, and problem-solving initiatives, helping us move toward a more efficient and quality-driven future

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead supplier quality planning activities for foundry suppliers to ensure successful project launches, PPAP approvals, and production readiness.
  • Support internal stakeholders and suppliers by driving corrective actions, conducting supplier assessments, and resolving quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Project Management on supplier development and launch activities.
  • Utilize quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis to improve supplier performance and product quality.
  • Continuously learn and share best practices to strengthen quality standards, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production/ Mechanical), Quality, or related technical field with 7-10years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience working with foundry commodities, casting processes, and supplier quality management within manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF16949 standards and quality system requirements.
  • Experience in supplier audits, quality assessments, and launch management.
  • ASQ Certification (CQE/CQM/ASQP) or Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier visits and project support activities.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Metrology and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
