The Impact You'll Make

As our Aero-Thermal Engineer Intern, you’ll play a key role in advancing the performance and efficiency of our next-generation turbomachinery technologies.

Your impact? You’ll help shape compressor designs through high-fidelity simulation, AI-supported analysis, and physics-based modeling—directly influencing how our products perform in real-world applications. Your work will strengthen our R&D capabilities and support smarter, more sustainable engineering solutions.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, data specialists, and fellow interns, taking ownership of simulation-driven design and analytical workflows. Your contributions will help us move toward a more innovative and efficient future in thermal and fluid-dynamic systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build aerodynamic and air-solid models based on compressor conceptual designs to support design iterations

  • Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations to evaluate compressor performance and analyze flow behavior

  • Compare predicted performance results with laboratory test data to validate design accuracy

  • Use tools such as Python/MATLAB and AI/ML methods to analyze simulation outputs and support data-driven engineering

  • Work closely with engineering team members on simulation tasks and contribute to additional assignments from the function manager

What We're Looking For

  • Current Master’s or PhD student in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Turbomachinery, or a related field; final-year Bachelor’s students will also be considered

  • Experience or coursework in CFD, including tools such as ANSYS, CFX, or Fluent, and familiarity with CAD modeling

  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB and interest in AI or machine learning as applied to engineering analysis

  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles

  • Ability to work 20 hours per week, communicate proactively in a remote or onsite environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
