The Impact You'll Make

As our new Analytics Engineer, you’ll turn industrial drive and IoT data into analytics and AI solutions that power Danfoss’ digital services. Your work will help customers improve performance, reliability, and efficiency in real operational environments.

You’ll be part of scaling analytics from promising ideas into reliable, product‑ready capabilities used across our installed base. By combining data, technology, and domain insight, you’ll help shape how analytics becomes a core part of Danfoss’ service business.

The role is based in Vaasa, Helsinki, or Tampere and offers a hybrid working model, giving you flexibility while staying close to your team and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop analytics and machine‑learning models using industrial drive and IoT data to create actionable insights.
  • Translate business and product needs into deployable analytics solutions for edge and cloud environments.
  • Build analytics solutions that scale by focusing on reusability, robustness, and integration into existing platforms.
  • Contribute hands‑on to development, testing, deployment, and monitoring in business‑critical projects.
  • Apply and evolve best practices for data handling, model lifecycle management, and CI/CD‑based deployment.

What We're Looking For

  • A solid foundation in data analytics, applied AI, or machine learning, ideally with exposure to industrial or IoT data such as time‑series or sensor data.
  • Hands‑on experience developing analytics solutions in Python, including data processing, modelling, and working with Docker.
  • Experience or clear motivation to work with production‑ready analytics, including deployment and operation in live environments.
  • Ability to explain data‑driven solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a multi‑cultural, English‑speaking environment.

What You'll Get from Us

You’ll join a collaborative Digital Services team where analytics is not just explored but used in real customer solutions. We offer opportunities to deepen your technical expertise, influence how analytics is scaled across products, and work closely with colleagues across software, product, and business.

At Danfoss, you’ll find a culture built on trust, learning, and ownership, supported by flexible working practices, a hybrid setup, and the stability of a global technology leader committed to sustainable innovation.

If you’re motivated by turning complex data into real‑world impact, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply — if this role sparks your interest, we encourage you to take the next step.
