Danfoss Central SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) function is looking for a Business Consultant who will be responsible for optimizing SAP IBP solutions to improve supply chain planning and execution.
The role involves collaboration with stakeholders to translate their requirements and technical teams to deliver the optimal systems solutions; ensuring alignment with business goals and processes across global supply chains.Your daily work will significantly contribute to the enhancing forecasting accuracy and demand planning.
The job can be hybrid or remote, the job location shall be Poland, Slovakia, Romania.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Solution Design & Implementation
Designing and configuring supply chain planning solutions across areas such as demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization. Working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions. - Integration & Data Management
Connecting planning systems with SAP. Managing data flows, data migration, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms and third‑party tools. - Process Optimization
Enhancing planning processes, improving forecasting accuracy, and driving overall operational efficiency through best‑practice methodologies. - Support & Training
Providing user support, troubleshooting, and delivering training to ensure successful adoption of planning tools and processes.
What We're Looking For
- Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Experience
More than 3 years of hands‑on experience implementing or supporting supply chain planning solutions, with strong knowledge of planning processes and configuration concepts.
Experience with business planning platforms, such as SAP IBP or similar, is considered a strong advantage. - Technical Skills
Expertise in statistical forecasting, demand planning methodologies, supply planning and inventory optimization, and data‑driven decision‑making. - English Language
Fluency in written and spoken English. - Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
