For the Turbocor division within Danfoss Climate Solutions, based at our headquarters in Nordborg, we are looking for a Buyer responsible for the procurement of raw materials and electronic components supporting compressor production.

The role is focused on operational procurement and order management activities, with responsibility for the correct execution of the purchasing process, monitoring of supply flows, and daily management of deliveries from Danfoss Turbocor sites in China and the US. The main objective is to ensure production continuity through reliable and timely management of the material flow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operational management of procurement activities for raw materials and electronic components to support production requirements and ensure supply continuity.
  • Review of purchase requisitions and creation of purchase orders in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal processes.
  • Management of orders to Danfoss Turbocor sites in China and the US, ensuring adherence to lead times, agreed conditions, and delivery status tracking.
  • Monitoring of open purchase orders and execution of expediting and rescheduling activities to secure material availability.
  • Close coordination with production and planning teams to ensure alignment between material demand and supply requirements.
  • Daily communication with international stakeholders in China and the US, providing updates on order status, deliveries, and operational issues.
  • Resolution of operational issues such as delays, shortages, and quality non-conformities, leveraging SAP and involving cross-functional teams when required

What We're Looking For

  • Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in buyer, operational procurement, or supply chain roles within structured industrial environments, ideally involving internal supply chains and intra-group purchasing processes.
  • Proven analytical skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, APICS, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt are considered a plus.
  • Good understanding of purchase-to-pay processes and order management dynamics.
  • Experience using ERP systems for procurement activities.
  • Strong operational mindset with ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Danish, with the ability to operate effectively in international and cross-functional environments.
