The Impact You'll Make

As an Logistics Analyst, you will directly support the daily execution of transportation and freight activities for the Reynosa campus, ensuring shipments are planned, quoted, and delivered on time while meeting cost and service expectations.

Your impact will be seen through effective coordination with U.S. and Mexico carriers, timely follow‑up on freight quotations, and close management of urgent expedites that support uninterrupted operations. By maintaining accurate shipment tracking and generating logistics and cost reports, you will provide visibility that enables better operational planning and cost control.

You will work closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain Management, Operations, Quality, and Finance, serving as a reliable point of contact for logistics‑related needs. Through consistent communication, attention to detail, and ownership of assigned logistics activities, you will help strengthen day‑to‑day execution and support continuous improvement within the logistics function.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate domestic and international freight activities, including carrier quotations, shipment scheduling, and delivery follow‑up to support daily operations.
  • Manage follow‑up on freight quotes and urgent expediting requests, ensuring timely responses and resolution in line with operational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with assigned U.S. and Mexico carriers, maintaining clear communication to ensure service execution and issue resolution.
  • Support internal customers such as SCM, Operations, Quality, and Finance by providing shipment status updates, documentation, and logistics support.
  • Prepare logistics reports and track cost‑saving actions by monitoring freight expenses, shipment performance, and follow‑up on agreed improvement actions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, supply chain, logistics, or related fields; an engineering degree is also acceptable with relevant supply chain experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in supply chain roles or 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in logistics activities such as freight coordination, warehouse operations, inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in conversations, lead calls, and present topics with English‑speaking stakeholders and carriers.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external service providers in a day‑to‑day operational environment.
  • Highly desirable: SAP usage and experience managing shipments (MX-MX, MX-US, US-US, US-Overseas)
