The Impact You'll Make

You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our global CAE simulation infrastructure. By optimizing servers, license systems, and HPC/cloud integrations, you’ll empower engineering teams to innovate faster and deliver high-quality products. Your contributions will directly reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and enable seamless collaboration across global teams—helping us stay ahead in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain and Optimize Systems: Ensure the smooth operation of CAE environments, including servers and license systems (FlexLM, RLM), for a reliable user experience.
  • Deploy and Integrate Software: Package, test, and deploy new CAE software versions, integrating them with HPC clusters and cloud platforms for maximum scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and Support: Collaborate with end users and vendors to resolve complex simulation errors, performance bottlenecks, and licensing issues quickly and effectively.
  • Automate and Innovate: Drive process improvements by automating repetitive tasks through scripting and creating technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with IAM, Infrastructure, Networking, and Security teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure optimal performance and security.

What We're Looking For

  • Deep CAE Expertise: Strong knowledge of simulation tools like Ansys, MathWorks, Siemens Simcenter, Comsol, and related applications.
  • System Administration Skills: Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS, scripting, and automation tools.
  • Network and Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking protocols, subnetting, WAN (Cloud), LAN, and security principles.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues with creativity and persistence.
  • Effective Communication: Skilled at engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a global environment.
