The Impact You'll Make

As our new CAD Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our global CAD platform. Your expertise will empower engineers to design faster and smarter, reducing downtime and accelerating product development. By continuously improving systems and processes, you’ll help us create an environment where innovation thrives.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll focus on:

  • Optimizing and maintaining the performance and reliability of our global CAD infrastructure, including servers and licenses.
  • Managing software packaging and deployment, ensuring smooth integration with our PLM system for stable updates.
  • Collaborating with global end users to provide expert-level technical support and resolve complex issues impacting design progress.
  • Driving continuous improvement by automating repetitive tasks through scripting and creating technical knowledge resources.
  • Working within an Agile Kanban framework, testing new builds, and developing automation scripts to enhance efficiency.

Every day, you’ll troubleshoot modeling errors, support engineers, and contribute to process improvements that make a measurable impact.

 

 

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has deep CAD expertise in MCAD and ECAD tools like Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Inventor, Cadence, Eplan, etc.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
  • Understands engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
  • Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Embraces an Agile mindset, working within frameworks like Kanban.
