Are you someone who can deliver exceptional customer service in a collaborative and fast-paced environment? Danfoss is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate order management, and proactive support.
In this role, you will work closely with Sales Account Managers, plant personnel, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service and drive continuous improvement. Success will be measured by your ability to build strong customer relationships and efficiently manage multiple processes while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as the primary customer contact, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries via email, phone, and customer portals
- Manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing/Plant teams, and Customer Service colleagues to meet customer expectations
- Utilize ERP, CRM, pricing systems, and EDI reporting tools to support customer needs and provide informed recommendations
- Proactively address customer concerns and escalations, partnering with leadership to promote quality and continuous improvement
- Handle multiple customer requests and processes simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or working closely with sales/manufacturing teams
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience improving processes and delivering excellent customer service
- Proven track record of collaboration across functions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to resolving issues
- Active listening skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude that contributes to a professional and enjoyable work environment
