The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate order management, and proactive support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Customer Service Representative will work closely with Sales Account Managers, plant personnel, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service. Success in this role is measured by the ability to build strong customer relationships, manage multiple processes efficiently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and resolving inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals
  • Manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing throughout the order lifecycle Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing/Plant teams, and Customer Service colleagues to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Utilize ERP, CRM, pricing systems, and EDI tools to support customer needs and provide informed recommendations
  • Proactively address customer concerns and escalations, partnering with leadership to support quality and continuous improvement efforts
  • Manage multiple customer requests and processes simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or working closely with sales and manufacturing teams
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Demonstrated experience improving processes and delivering excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
