The Impact You'll Make
As our Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in transforming complex supply-chain data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence for the Fluid Conveyance business.
You’ll enable plant teams and senior leaders to make faster, more confident decisions by delivering accurate, reliable, and visually clear KPI reporting. By consolidating and enhancing data on Databricks, Power BI, and SAP S/4HANA, you’ll improve transparency, performance tracking, and day-to-day execution across the supply chain.
You’ll collaborate closely with supply-chain, IT, analytics, and plant operations teams, and take ownership of end-to-end data pipelines, KPI frameworks, and reporting solutions, helping us move toward a more data-driven, efficient, and scalable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Lead the end-to-end KPI reporting backbone for supply chain performance, delivering reliable visibility on past-due orders, customer on-time delivery (OTD), inventory, intercompany shipments, and plant health using SAP-sourced data.
-
Support plant teams, supply-chain leaders, and senior management by translating business questions into actionable dashboards and insights, proactively troubleshooting data quality, freshness, and performance issues.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams—including planning, logistics, manufacturing, finance, IT, and the divisional AI lead—on initiatives such as the Supply Chain Control Tower, KPI standardization, and decision-support enablement.
-
Use your skills in Databricks (PySpark & SQL), Power BI, and SAP data modeling to build scalable pipelines, audience-right dashboards, governed feedback loops to SAP, and robust data-quality checks with defined SLAs.
-
Continuously learn and share knowledge to strengthen how we operate and innovate, documenting data models, lineage, and ownership while driving global adoption of standardized KPIs and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Any graduate with 8–10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or supply-chain data roles within complex, enterprise environments, preferably from the engineering or automotive industry background.
-
Experience in building production-grade data pipelines on large datasets, with a strong ability to deliver fast, reliable, and maintainable analytics solutions using Azure Databricks (PySpark & SQL).
-
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA data models, particularly within supply-chain and logistics domains (SD/MM), including experience with data integration patterns and governed feedback or write-back concepts.
-
Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams, collaborating with supply-chain, IT, analytics, and business stakeholders to align definitions, standardize KPIs, and drive adoption.
-
Strong business translation and communication skills, enabling clear data storytelling and the design of executive- and plant-level reporting with high visual clarity in Power BI.
-
A self-driven, continuous-learning mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take end-to-end ownership of issues through resolution in a complex, global environment.
- The ideal working time is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST, with flexibility to occasionally support European time zones, requiring availability between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM IST when needed.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
