The Impact You'll Make

 You will be the go-to specialist for both HVAC system design and BIM (Building Information Modeling )  helping Danfoss HydronicS become the preferred partner for consultants, engineers, and customers across Europe. Your expertise will directly influence project specifications and commercial success.

Working at the intersection of engineering, digital design, and customer engagement, you will turn complex project requirements into accurate, application-ready solutions. Your work will shape how our products are designed into real-world buildings and district systems.
 
You will also help elevate our digital capabilities by advancing BIM standards, Revit content, and design workflows, ensuring Danfoss remains at the forefront of smart, efficient climate solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design HVAC hydronic systems based on project specifications to deliver accurate, ready-to-use engineering outputs for customers.
  • Apply system sizing, balancing, and optimisation expertise to improve efficiency and reliability across heating and cooling applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models and Revit families aligned with Danfoss product portfolios and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product Management to support customer requests and keep BIM content up to date.
  • Enhance BIM workflows and tools to improve consistency, efficiency, and user experience across the HydronicS organization.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of hands-on expertise in hydronic HVAC system design, including sizing, balancing, and calculation methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Proven experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows, including creating and managing Revit families.
  • Ability to translate technical designs into clear, customer-ready documentation.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Engineering, Product Management).
  • Fluent English communication skills for working with international customers and teams.
