As our new Strategy Director (m/f/d) at Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS), you will help shape the strategic direction of a global technology leader committed to engineering a more sustainable future. Your work will directly influence how we drive productivity, efficiency, and decarbonization across mobile and industrial machinery worldwide.
In this senior role based in Hamburg, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to segment leadership, guiding decisions that shape long-term growth, portfolio choices, and business transformation. You will turn complex questions into clear strategic pathways and ensure our segment is positioned to lead in a rapidly evolving industry.
By elevating strategic capabilities across the organization, you will create clarity, enable bold decisions, and set the foundation for future innovation and value creation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and own critical strategic initiatives that drive DPS-wide priorities and unlock long-term growth.
- Shape divisional strategies and ensure alignment with the segment agenda, acting as a senior sparring partner to leadership teams.
- Apply structured problem solving to analyze markets, competitors, and financial drivers, turning insights into clear recommendations.
- Strengthen strategic frameworks, tools, and methodologies while coaching team members in structured thinking.
- Support executive decision-making through high-quality strategic materials and facilitate cross-functional strategic dialogues.
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of experience in strategy consulting or (corporate) strategy, including leading complex strategic initiatives
- Experience building business cases, translating strategy into financial impact, and working with executive leadership teams
- Strong background in structured problem solving and analytical methodologies
- Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders, translate insights into decisions, and guide cross-functional collaboration
- Experience navigating dynamic or complex organizational environments and working across international or cross-functional teams
