The Impact You'll Make

As our Director for Strategic Pricing within Danfoss Power Solution's Fluid Conveyance division based in Nordborg or Hamburg, you will shape how we price, position, and protect value across a global industrial business. Your leadership will directly influence profitability, customer experience, and how we strengthen our distribution channel.

You will guide the shift from traditional list-price models to modern, value‑driven and data‑based pricing approaches, ensuring our decisions reflect real customer behavior, market demand, and product availability.
Working closely with pricing specialists across business units and regions, you will play a key role in building one coordinated pricing strategy and embedding a strong, data‑driven pricing culture across the division.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the global pricing strategy for the Fluid Conveyance division to improve revenue, profitability, and price realization—especially within distribution.
  • Develop pricing governance and frameworks to strengthen decision-making, discount control, and margin protection across markets.
  • Drive execution of annual and mid‑year price adjustments, owning list prices, discount structures, incentive models, and rebate logic.
  • Use data and analytics to uncover pricing opportunities and balance volume, mix, availability, and margin outcomes.
  • Provide functional leadership to divisional pricing teams to ensure aligned priorities and consistent, data‑driven pricing execution.

What We're Looking For

  • Academical backgound in Business or Finance (or similar) plus 8+ years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, finance, or sales operations within a B2B or industrial environment.
  • Great analytical skills and understanding of value‑based pricing and price governance.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a global, matrixed setup.
  • Experience leading or coordinating pricing teams or functions.
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 15%).
