The Impact You'll Make

As our Director – Engineering Verification & Validation Labs, you’ll play a key role in enabling robust product validation and supporting efficient product development for Danfoss Power Solutions.

Your impact? Deliver accurate and timely testing outcomes, improve product design cycle time, and strengthen global testing capabilities. Your work will support engineering teams, enhance product quality, and contribute to building a global testing competency center.

You’ll collaborate with Hydromechanical, Electronics, and Software engineering teams, along with external partners, and take ownership of lab operations, testing coordination, and capability development, helping us move toward a more efficient and standardized testing environment

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead engineering verification & validation lab operations to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant testing results while ensuring safety, efficiency, and standardization.

Support product engineering teams by coordinating complex test programs, analyzing data, and providing technical reports and recommendations for product development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to enhance testing capabilities, ensure compliance with standards, and strengthen global testing practices.

Use your skills in lab management, data analysis, and process improvement to optimize workflows, manage equipment and resources, and improve testing efficiency and quality.

Continuously learn and share knowledge to build a high-performance culture, drive standardization, and enhance innovation, safety, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including exposure to product design, engineering validation, and testing.
  • Candidates should have around 10 years of experience in a managerial role. 
  • Experience in hydraulic product development, testing and understanding of lab safety, hazards, and waste management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of global standards such as NFPA, SAE, or similar is an added advantage.
  • Experience in engineering verification & validation, lab operations, or product testing, with a strong ability to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant test results.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronics, cybersecurity with knowledge of hydraulic systems, testing protocols, and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, SAE).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, lab operations, and resources under tight timelines while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
  • A mindset of safety, continuous improvement, and problem-solving, with focus on standardization, efficiency, and building high-performance teams.
