The position is to enable a successful and fast execution of Externally Manufactured Products development projects by developing a strategic supplier portfolio aligning with portfolio strategy, driving the sourcing and engagement of suppliers from demand request to awarding, and eventually selecting high-performing suppliers that meet cost, quality and delivery requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive sourcing activities from demand request to awarding, faciliating and performing total cost analyisis to select high-performing suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements for Externaly Manufactured Products (Branded Products and Outsourced Manufactured Products).
- Prepare and negotiate Framework Agreement and Price Agreement for EMP suppliers, strictly aligning with business and market requirements.
- Develop a strategic supplier portfolio aligning with HydronicS China portfolio strategy.
- Secure proactive supplier engagement on Danfoss required initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Code of Conduct, Sustainability and Innovation during the EMP projects.
- Consult with partners up to senior management on outsourcing strategies and risk avoidance, working closely with different procurement stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine and successfully implement HD China portfolio development strategy and projects, building additional value aligned with business needs and strategic objective.
- Review planned projects/demands, understand demand structure, and develop basic technical knowledge of product portfolio.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similiar fields.
- Proven experience in procurement or commercial role, with engineering experience being a plus.
- Experience in Data Center, HVAC, District Energy is perferred.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with project management experience.
- A strong sense of accountability and initiative, exhibiting excellent analytical skills, a structured working style, critical thinking and customer focus.
- High degree of flexability and sense of urgency.
