The Impact You'll Make
Are you passionate about electronics design and eager to make your mark in a global technology leader? At Danfoss Power Solutions, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Joystick Competency Center in Nordborg. You will become part of a collaborative and experienced engineering team that develops industry-leading joystick solutions for off-highway mobile machinery.
In this role, you'll join a highly skilled and supportive environment where we value teamwork, deep technical expertise, and a strong customer focus. If you're someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and enjoys seeing your work come to life in rugged real-world applications, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Electronics Engineer, contribute to our continuous growth by participating in new product development activities. You must expect that activity types will be varying depending on our roadmaps, customer opportunities, product maintenance activities etc.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Performing updates and changes to already existing electronics designs. This could be in relation to cost down activities, product improvements, quality problems, process optimizations etc.
- Participate in cross-functional new product development teams to deliver new products to the market according following our development processes.
- Work closely with Product Application Engineering to realize customer variant creation on our existing product platforms. This could entail new product features, new product finger functions etc. to meet customer requirements.
- Designing and changing schematics and PCB layouts (we use Altium Designer)
- Supporting product validation through EMC, environmental, and functional safety testing
- Creating and maintaining documentation such as design journals, DFMEAs, simulation reports, and test documentation
Our joysticks are used in demanding environments with high expectations for EMC robustness, functional safety, and mechanical durability. You will be working with designs that must perform reliably under harsh conditions – including vibration, temperature extremes, and electromagnetic exposure.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in electronics development – ideally within the off-highway or industrial segment
- A structured and quality-focused approach to engineering and documentation
- Familiarity with E-CAD tools such as Altium Designer (or similar)
- An interest in functional safety, EMC, and environmental compliance is a plus
Most importantly, you are motivated by collaborative problem-solving, eager to grow your skills, and ready to contribute to a team where curiosity, precision, and customer value go hand in hand.
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
