The Impact You'll Make
As our Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing Hydraulic Integrated Circuit (HIC) manifold blocks for mobile applications that meet customer-specific technical requirements, cost targets, and product launch timelines.
You will contribute to delivering optimized hydraulic solutions by improving product performance, reducing design complexity and cost, and supporting the successful development and introduction of products that meet both customer and Danfoss requirements.
You’ll collaborate with Product Engineering, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers, and Customers, taking ownership of manifold design and development activities while supporting engineering excellence through analysis-driven design and deployment of Design for Excellence (DfX) practices.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the design and development of hydraulic manifold blocks (HICs) based on customer requirements.
- Optimize manifold designs for compactness, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness while identifying cost-down opportunities.
- Drive development effectiveness through analysis-first approaches and deployment of DfX methodologies where relevant.
- Support product validation plans, testing activities, and product introduction to ensure solutions meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Perform quality checks and provide technical support to internal departments, suppliers, and customers related to the product.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a mechanical or related engineering field, including 3+ years of engineering/product design experience in a relevant domain.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and heat treatment.
- Demonstrated experience with engineering change management processes and execution of changes through PLM or similar systems
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
