As our Engineer Maintenance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted, reliable, and efficient production within DMD SC operations, including LD and P600 lines. By maintaining and optimizing production process equipment, the role directly contributes to minimizing downtime, enhancing equipment performance, and sustaining continuous operational flow. This impact supports higher productivity, improved product quality, and overall operational excellence across the production line.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling the shift independently by inspecting and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Responsible for execution of daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as per schedule.
- Responsible for updating maintenance log and critical spare list.
- Responsible for abnormality correction.
- Responsible for Downtime, MTTR,MTBF and OEE monitoring
- Responsible for workplace safety and 5S
- Key Areas
Downtime reduction
Adherence of preventive maintenance schedule
OEE - Target as Agreed
Kaizen implementation
What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of Electro-Mechanical components
- Basic knowledge on electrical and pneumatic system
- Ability to understand the electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Hands on experience on barcode scanners and label printers
- Knowledge on different types of motors and it's operations
- Basic knowledge of different types of sensors, timers, ,encoder, relay
- Hands on experience with critical equipment like selective soldering machine, thermal grease printing machine and belt, chain conveyor system
- Familiar with Key & Critical Process of LD, P600 (Functional Testing, Soldering, Load Test)
- PCBA & Failure Trouble shooting would be added advantage
- Knowledge in 7 Quality Tools
- Why-Why analysis and problem-solving techniques
