The Impact You'll Make
As our Engineer – Mechanical, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing high‑performance, reliable, and manufacturable mechanical solutions for high‑power drives and systems. Your work will directly support R&D initiatives that enable robust, safe, and cost‑effective products for demanding industrial applications.
Your impact? By delivering well‑engineered mechanical components and assemblies, you will help ensure products meet performance, reliability, quality, and cost targets. Successful designs will reduce rework, improve manufacturability, speed up development cycles, and enable smooth prototype builds—benefiting R&D teams, manufacturing partners, and ultimately customers who depend on dependable drive solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with R&D, electrical engineering, testing, supply chain, and external suppliers, and take ownership of mechanical design, 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, supplier coordination, and prototype support, helping us move toward a more innovative, efficient, and reliability‑driven engineering future.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
- Design and develop mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies for high‑power drives and solutions
- Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings to evaluate multiple design concepts and support product development
- Develop innovative designs that meet performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, and safety requirements
- Perform basic analytical modeling, simulations, and design analysis at part, sub‑system, and product levels
- Execute tolerance stack‑up analysis and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles
- Prepare and present design analysis reports and participate in part and assembly design reviews
- Develop product, component, testing, and purchase specifications
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for manufacturing feasibility, qualification, documentation, and prototype development
- Support prototype builds, address design issues, and incorporate improvements based on test and manufacturing feedback
- Collaborate closely with electrical, testing, and cross‑functional R&D teams to ensure integrated system solutions
- Continuously update skills and knowledge on latest mechanical technologies relevant to motor drives and power electronics
- Support domestic and international travel for training, capability building, and prototype testing, as required
