As our Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone for our High Pressure Pump products in South Europe. In this role, you will work remotely from France or Spain, providing expert technical and application support to internal teams, external sales, and customers — including OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and after-sales service partners. 

Your work will ensure optimal product selection, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs, enabling our customers to achieve maximum efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in their operations.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Provide technical and application support for Danfoss High Pressure Pump products to internal stakeholders, external sales teams, and customers.
  • Support OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and after-sales service partners with product selection, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs.
  • Conduct on-site service visits, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal product performance.
  • Deliver training and technical guidance to customers and partners to enhance product knowledge and application expertise.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, and Quality teams to address technical issues and improve product offerings.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation in line with Danfoss standards.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor's degree  in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in field service, technical support, or application engineering in related industries.
  • Experience with high-pressure pump systems and related applications.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to travel internationally (50% of the time).
  • Flexibility – ability to adapt to changing priorities,etc.
  • Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish, or French is an advantage.
