The Impact You'll Make

 

As our Global Quality Specialist – Process Standardization (IATF Focus), you’ll play a key role in strengthening Danfoss’s global Quality Management System (QMS) by harmonizing and optimizing quality processes across all business segments and manufacturing sites. Your impact? You’ll ensure global alignment with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards, drive process efficiency, and support the One Danfoss Quality Culture. What You’ll Be Doing

 

In this role, you’ll lead global initiatives to standardize and optimize quality processes, ensuring compliance and driving efficiency across all manufacturing sites. You’ll act as a key partner for global teams and a subject matter expert on IATF standards.

 

 

  • Lead the development, alignment, and deployment of standardized global quality processes across manufacturing sites and business segments.
  • Harmonize procedures, templates, and documentation within the global QMS to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Drive simplification and digitalization of core quality processes in alignment with One ERP and Digital Quality initiatives.
  • Ensure all standardized processes meet IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements, supporting audit readiness globally.
  • Use process mapping and data-driven analysis to identify inefficiencies and implement lean-oriented improvements.
  • Promote structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, FMEA) through standardized global processes.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Quality Leaders, Operations, Engineering, and IT to embed quality early in processes and drive digital workflows.
  • Act as a mentor and subject matter expert (SME) for process standardization and IATF-related topics.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative quality professional who combines technical expertise with strong communication skills. You should be comfortable influencing across a global matrix organization and passionate about driving process excellence.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Management, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality, quality systems, or process standardization roles.
  • Deep understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements and their process implications.
  • Proven experience leading cross-site or cross-regional standardization initiatives.
  • Strong background in quality management systems (QMS) and global document control.
  • Proficiency with core quality tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with digital process management systems (SAP QM, EtQ, or equivalent).
  • Certified IATF/ISO auditor or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent communicator and facilitator across global and multicultural teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
