The Impact You'll Make

As our HR People Partner for our new Hydro Holding business, you will play a key role in shaping how our people experience the integration into Danfoss. Working closely with your Site HR colleague, you’ll support more than 300 employees (115 salaried, 200 hourly) across multiple European locations in Italy (Bologna, Pavia, Lecco, Ariano), United Kingdom (Oldbury) and Czech Republic (Mostkovice) and help create a strong, unified culture built on trust, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Your focus will be leading people through change—bringing Danfoss values to life, aligning processes and systems, and fostering open, constructive relationships with our union partners. Your curiosity, communication skills, and ability to translate complexity into clarity will make a real difference as we grow.

Beyond integration, you’ll act as a trusted sparring partner and coach for leaders. You’ll balance strategic thinking with hands‑on problem solving, all while keeping employee experience at the center of your work.

For this role, you can be based in one of our Hydro sites in Italy.

  • Lead people-related integration activities by embedding Danfoss culture, behaviors, processes, and systems to ensure a seamless and positive transition.
  • Strengthen employee experience by addressing both strategic and operational HR matters with clarity, empathy, and structure.
  • Partner with leaders as a coach and change agent to support transformation, growth, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster constructive union and employee relations to maintain trust, transparency, and a healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with Site HR and business teams to support talent, organizational development, and workforce planning initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a People Partner in a global, matrixed industrial setting, supported by relevant higher education
  • Proven change management experience, ideally including integration or transformation activities.
  • Solid understanding of organizational development and design principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Italian, with readiness to travel 25–50%.

  4. You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
