The Impact You'll Make
As our HR Trainee at Danfoss Finland, you’ll play a meaningful support role in the Supply Chain site in Vaasa, helping ensure smooth daily HR operations and collaboration across the organization. You’ll contribute directly to a positive employee experience by supporting HR processes, maintaining HR data and articles, and assisting managers and employees with practical HR needs.
Your impact? You will strengthen local HR capabilities by providing hands-on support in time & attendance, reporting, communication, training coordination, and other operational HR processes. Your work will help keep our Supply Chain operations running efficiently while contributing to a supportive and engaging work environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with the People Partner and factory leadership, and your social, outgoing personality will help you build strong connections across the site—moving us toward an even more people-centered and efficient workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support HR data, systems, and time & attendance.
- Prepare reports, materials, and communications.
- Assist with meetings, events, training, and surveys.
- Support employment matters and act as summer back-up.
- Provide general HR support across the Vaasa Supply Chain site.
What We're Looking For
- Ongoing studies in Human Resources or a related field at a university or university of applied sciences
- A social, outgoing, and service-minded personality with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Curious, self-driven, flexible, organized, and efficient in daily routines
- Strong communication skills in Finnish and English
- Comfortable using Office tools and HR/IT systems.
- Experience in positions of trust (e.g., student organizations, associations, or hobbies) is an asset.
This role offers valuable experience in HR operations, leadership support, and employee engagement within a dynamic and supportive Supply Chain environment.
The position runs from February to July 2026 (part-time during winter/spring, full-time in summer).
A thesis collaboration may also be possible.
