At Danfoss, we don’t just sell products — we co-create solutions with our most strategic customers. We’re now looking for a Head of IRF Key Accounts to take ownership of our Top Strategic Accounts and play a key role in driving profitable, long-term growth.
This is a high-impact role where you operate at the intersection of strategy, customer insight, and execution — globally and regionally.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Strategic influence: You’ll shape and own global account strategies for some of Danfoss’ most important customers.
· End-to-end ownership: From customer insight and value propositions to pricing, agreements, and regional execution.
· Visibility & collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders across regions, business units, and functions.
· Long-term impact: Build sustainable partnerships that grow share of wallet and customer value over time.
· A strong platform: Leverage Danfoss’ technology, brand, and global footprint to win where it truly matters.
Your key responsibilities
· Significantly increase sales and share of wallet with selected Top Strategic Accounts.
· Develop and deploy global strategic account plans that deliver profitable, sustainable growth.
· Drive execution of account plans in close cooperation with regional sales organizations, ensuring alignment on pipeline, priorities, and challenges.
· Develop, strengthen, and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers in procurement, engineering, product management and marketing to ensure alignment to strategic plans for customers
· Deeply understand customers’ strategic priorities, pain points, and decision processes — and act as their advocate internally.
· Ensure strong delivery of compelling value propositions, grounded in real customer insights.
· Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers across procurement, engineering, product management, and marketing.
· Lead pricing negotiations and global agreements, and ensure effective regional implementation.
What We're Looking For
You likely hold Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and bring experience from business development, key account management, or strategic sales in a complex, international environment.
Experience in relevant industry and a background in the HVAC or Refrigeration sector is a plus (2–5 years preferred).
You’re comfortable navigating senior stakeholders, balancing strategy with execution, and turning customer insight into commercial results.
